SSCA Road to Indy Series

The SSCA Road to Indy Series (RIS) is a developmental racing series launched drivers who would like to move to the iRacing IndyCar Weekly Series or the iRacing IZOD IndyCar Premier Series. The series will run both Road Courses and Ovals. It will be a 10 race season with two drop allowed. This will be a great Series both new, veteran, and up and coming IndyCar and Star Mazda Drivers.

The RIS will be a fun open wheel series that is is put on by the SSCA free of charge. Yes FREE!!!

We want to have this event available to most iRacing participants with the only requirements being a 3.0 safety rating or a Class C or better license gets you in automatically.

Car: Star Mazda
Race Day: Monday Nights (6:30pm Pacific Time)

You must first register with iLeague Race first before you can signup for the SSCA Road to Indy Series.

Was fun to race. But i pushed too hard and spinned many times. I really hope to race here more.

That's the biggest thing I learned in week 1. I solo spun twice and took myself completely out of contention. Since then I've focused on having 0-incident races instead of being fast, and it's worked wonders for me. Even though I'm not turning the fast lap each race, I'm still in position to finish well every week just by having no incidents in the 3 races since the opener.
